Our ClientsThe Project DivisionA national not-for-profit organization envisioned a book-length publication to mark its 50th anniversary. The publication was to chronicle the history of the organization and enhance the organization’s visibility in the training field. Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC developed the concept and managed the project from manuscript to print. A major university wanted to create a unique event that would interest scholars and the public. The event was to help bridge the “town-gown” gap that had characterized the relationship between the city and the university. Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC designed the event, obtained corporate support, and produced the event. An advocacy organization needed to address the racial and cultural conflict among its membership and staff. With the assistance of Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC the organization created its first diversity awareness initiative. The Eldercare DivisionAn elderly couple who had lived in New York all of their married life needed to downsize and relocate to be near their only relative. Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC coordinated the entire relocation by arranging a moving sale, overseeing the move, arranging the transfer of medical/legal/financial records, identifying community resources and service providers in the new location, and coaching the couple’s niece in her new role as caregiver. An active professional adult daughter whose mother was over 100 years old was overwhelmed with her mother’s care needs. A string of caregivers resulted in a lack of consistent care. Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC, developed a care plan which included identifying a geriatrician, coordinating medical and non-medical service providers, coaching, overseeing low-vision and mobility training through a local community-based organization. A 90 year-old senior who lived independently needed some help in managing his bills and the paperwork generated by Medicare and other insurances. Even though he continued to drive and had no accidents, his family was in constant fear of his driving. He didn’t like to cook and sometimes he would go days without bathing. Jackson-Brown Associates, LLC kept up with his bills and developed an easy way for him to keep track of his mail. He was enrolled in a safe driving course for seniors. Several times a week, a male personal care attendant, identified by Jackson-Brown Associates, assisted him with his personal hygiene.
